Thanks to the insulated duct system from Ubbink, Aerfoam can be used in mechanical ventilation systems as well as in balanced ventilation with heat recovery (WTW). By improving installation performance and reducing energy consumption, Aerfoam is a time-saving solution that meets the highest demands, absorbs sound and prevents heat loss. Well-insulated ducts are designed to counteract temperature losses and condensation caused by temperature differences between the air within the ventilation system and outside the system. Thanks to a round shape and smooth inner wall, these Aerfoam extension ducts offer little resistance to the ventilation system and are very resistant to under and over pressure.

Ubbink's duct systems are easy to install. Simply use a connecting piece with the same diameter to connect the duct with the rest of the installation. A mechanical connection allows disassembly of the installation (which is convenient for cleaning) and creates a continuous smooth inner wall. The use of the insulating jacket reduces noise in ventilation ducts, resulting in a low-noise ventilation system. It is made of plastic and Expanded Polyethylene (EPE) insulation material. The material does not rust and is extremely light, easy to cut, elastic and impact resistant. This specific Aerfoam extension duct has a diameter of Ø 150 mm and a length of 2000 mm (2 m).
