Heat recovery units (MVHR)

MVHR stands for Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery, and it is aptly named. MVHR is an energy-efficient ventilation technique that minimises heat loss. The heat from the exhaust air is used to heat the incoming fresh air. This saves both energy and money. An MVHR system keeps the air flows in the house in balance and is therefore called balanced ventilation. An MVHR system can be fitted with a wireless radio frequency (RF), making it easy to control the system with an RF remote control. This requires a receiver (print) and a control switch (transmitter).
