The insulated duct system from Ubbink, Aerfoam, can be used in mechanical ventilation systems as well as in balanced ventilation systems with heat recovery (WTW). By improving installation performance and reducing energy consumption, Aerfoam is a time-saving solution that meets the highest demands, absorbs sound and prevents heat loss. Temperature differences between the air inside and outside a duct can cause condensation in ventilation systems unless the ducts are properly insulated. Thanks to a round shape and smooth inner wall, these Aerfoam extension ducts offer little resistance to the ventilation system and are very resistant to under and over pressure.

Ubbink's duct systems can be connected without tape, making installation easy. With the coupling piece you can connect the ducts with other Aerfoam components within the installation. A mechanical connection allows the installation to be disassembled (useful for cleaning) and creates a continuous smooth inner wall. Due to the acoustic properties of the insulation jacket, the noise in ventilation ducts is reduced, resulting in a silent ventilation system that you can enjoy. Ubbink's Aerfoam extension duct is made of Expanded Polyethylene (EPE): a light, elastic, easy to cut and impact resistant material that will not rust. This specific Aerfoam extension duct has a diameter of Ø 160 mm and is 1000 mm long (1 m).
