An RFT remote controller uses radio frequencies to send a signal to the device it is supposed to control. This is in contrast to infrared remote controls, for example, which use infrared radiation. RFT controllers are usually wireless and use a specific frequency.  As a result, they have a greater range and do not rely on a direct line-of-sight connection between the remote and the device. This feature makes RFT technology ideal for use in Itho Dalderop ventilation remote controllers.
