Description

Both mechanical ventilation systems and balanced ventilation with heat recovery (WTW) are compatible with Aerfoam, Ubbink's insulated duct system. It is a time-saving solution that meets the highest demands. Aerfoam improves the performance of the installations and limits energy consumption: it prevents condensation, heat loss and dampens noise. Placing a bend makes it possible to lay a ventilation duct in a corner or curve.


No tools are required to install Ubbink's duct systems. The couplings are used to mechanically connect ducts and fittings. By using a mechanical connection, the installation can be disassembled (for cleaning) and the inner walls are smooth. The acoustic properties of the insulation jacket reduce noise in ventilation ducts and ensure low-noise ventilation. It is made of plastic and Expanded Polyethylene (EPE) insulation material. The material does not rust and is extremely light, easy to cut, elastic and impact resistant. This specific Aerfoam bend has a diameter of Ø 150 mm and a bend angle of 45 degrees with a bend radius of 45 millimeters.
